Imagine this scenario. This is your lucky day at roulette or some other game. We have all had such days in which you can do no wrong. It is highly desirable that on this particular day you should be in a casino, playing your game and betting heavily. You should be piling up your winnings. It would be very desirable that when your luck finally turns bad, you do not fritter away the win. It should be impossible to lose your win back to the club.

As you look across the floor of a casino that is crowded with people it is important to know that only a small minority (if any) of the players know how to win. This small minority has the key to beating the clubs. You are today invited to join them.

AT THE BEGINNING
Three critical rules before placing a bet:
1. MANAGEMENT: Manage your money. Money management is the single most important factor. Never place a bet without a plan of action.

The facetious last item is a minimum bet of £1 and a maximum bet of £100,000. No club has such a betting rule, of course. The cost of staying in the game would be minimal. The player would place bets of £1 which would yield the club very little revenue. During losing streaks the player would reduce the bet back to £1, the lowest range of available bet size, and wait for the losing streak to play out.

Each player win streak must be allowed to run its full, natural course.
ALTERING THE LAWS OF CHANCE.
By terminating the house’s win streaks early on, and making sure the player’s win streaks run on, the laws of chance are fundamentally altered in favour of the player.
MANIPULATING THE LAWS OF CHANCE.
Under the hidden factor system cycles of luck will be controlled. The laws of chance will be manipulated by a money management system.
THE THREE OBJECTIVES ARE:
(1) Win streaks. ----- Bet heavily during all win streaks.
(2) Secure the win.----- Never lose the win back to the house.
(3) Control Risk. ------- Protect the player from substantive loss.
MECHANICAL SYSTEM.
The hidden factor system is a mechanical system. It duplicates the basic approach of professionals.
SYSTEM AND DEFINITIONS.
(1) Stake is the maximum amount of money to be committed during any particular gambling venture. No money allowed that is vital to the family. No car payment money. No rent money. No food money etc. If such money is bet, the player will lack courage when the going gets tough.
(2) Increment is your stake broken down into small equal amounts. You approach a gaming table with the first increment. You try to launch the increment into a win streak. When you eventually lose an increment you must leave the table. Try to preserve the increment through small losing streaks. Treat the betting of each increment as an isolated episode. By only allowing the house to win a small amount of money at one time you artificially break off the house’s win streaks. On a lucky day it does not matter how small the increment is. On a lucky day the player will win big with attack betting.
(3) Attack Betting means you will always be thinking of increasing your bets. (Otherwise big wins are impossible). The increment system strictly controls your losses. This allows the player to bet heavily with controlled risk (as heavily as possible with the limited money available). A win streak will move the player into the high range of available bet size. It is the player, not the house, who will decide the size of the bets. Any excuse is a good excuse to increase bet size. Play your hunches. Bet with confident abandon whenever you start to win. Always try to turn a big win into a much bigger win. Total GREED when you are winning is vital. The Home Pocket will save you.
(4) Home Pocket is where the player keeps the accumulated winnings. As you bet and win, set aside a portion of your winning bets into the home pocket. All home pocket money goes home. All wins, large and small are thereby safeguarded. The percentage of your winning bets that you should set aside will vary from 30% to 70%. For instance, set aside 30% if you are optimistic about winning. The other 70% will be used for heavy betting. Set aside up to 70% is you are pessimistic. Only 30% will be available for increased bets. Follow your hunches on home pocket contributions. (The home pocket can be a friend or spouse who periodically picks up and cashes in home pocket winnings). Naturally when you are on a losing streak there will be little money available for the home pocket.
(5) Waiting Periods is the very small price you pay under the hidden factor system. The house will have its win streaks. On other occasions the player will be barley holding his own. This results in dull waiting periods. Being bored is not fun, but it is a lot better than being a loser.
HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS.
1. The house wants to confine the player to a narrow range of bet size. The hidden factor system makes systematic use
of the entire range of available bet size.
2. “Increment” is the system device designed to counter house betting rules and safeguard the player.
3. You have chosen a basic stake. Your stake can be any amount you choose depending on your financial resources. Let’s say (just for example) you choose £800.
4. Let us assume that you split the £800 into £40 increments. Play the smallest increment that can reasonably work in a given situation. During periods of bad luck a large increment will not help. During periods of good luck a small increment will build up rapidly.
5. All win streaks must be played out in full. Once the player has a win streak in progress the player must play on until the small, originating increment is 100% depleted. The home pocket will hold the win. Even if the win streak starts to ebb, the player does NOT have the option to quit.
6. Win streaks are too important to allow intuition to interfere. The only defence option allowed is to (a) temporarily decrease bet size and/or (b) temporarily contribute a greater percentage of winning bets (up to 70% for instance) to the home pocket. It is mandatory to try to ride out temporary losing streaks. It is mandatory to always try to go on to a super massive win.
7. Win streaks will ebb and flow. This is where the player must have courage. Attack betting must be resumed as soon as possible. Win streaks must always be allowed every possible chance to build up to huge proportions. The rare, massive win must not be missed.
8. Big win streaks can last for hours and even days. Huge wins are possible. The biggest win streaks do not happen every day. Be mentally prepared when your moment arrives. It will not arrive on cue. It will sneak up on you at some unexpected time.
9. Win streaks tend to be tiring for some players. This is caused by the fickle nature of luck. Suppress your fear tendencies. Communicate your confidence to the game and keep on playing. Remember that your existing win is safe in the home pocket.
10.Try to get betting limits raised during win streaks. You may or may not be successful. Keep trying. Be polite.
11.ATTITUDE IS VERY, VERY IMPORTANT. The player who expects to win will win. The player needs to be free from care and worry.
12.The size of a win the player must shoot for must be massively larger than stake and increment. This is a vital theoretical concept. The house wins will be much more numerous, but small.
13.Imagine a situation in which the player is £15,000 ahead on a win streak. Gradually the pit boss and other club personnel become aware. They take some action which serves to interrupt play. If the player is prevented from continuing play, the hidden factor system has suffered a devastating blow. The rare, massive win must not be artificially terminated. Note: Play only in good regulated casinos
14.Each increment can be bet only once. With a £800 stake and £40 increments, you can only approach a table 20 times on an individual gambling venture. After expending each increment you must leave the table. After 20 trips to the table your gambling is over for this time. This rule causes the totality of gambling activity to be rationally related to the amount of player resources available. Resist breaking this simple rule.
15.Stop playing when the house has completely won an increment. Leave the table. Play again later with a new increment. Rely on your hunches as to when and where to begin playing again.
16.The £800 stake combined with £40 increments is merely an example. The player may use many different combinations.
17.There are waiting times when the house is snatching your increments right and left. These periods are not much fun. This is the strength of the system. The house is on a win streak and you are not a big loser. Losing streaks are inevitable. Only small money is involved. STRONG PLAYERS are not affected by these small losses. These losses are the price paid on the way to a big win.
18.There is a limit to the theoretical size of an increment. An increment of £300 would be too large, for example, if the maximum bet were only £500. You need space between increment size and maximum bet to allow for progressively larger bets during win streaks.
19.High rollers beware. Large increments require HUGE maximum bets. Normally the clubs are too smart to allow huge bets (except in upstairs rooms with known losers). For this reason high rollers must always be losers. High rollers are left bucking the odds without the compensation of streaks.
20.Treat each increment with care. Do not let the increments blur together. Try to give each increment a serious chance at becoming the one to achieve a huge win.
21.Keep your mind clear. Concentrate on the game. Play your hunches.

THE THEORY BEHIND THE SYSTEM.
The laws of chance favour the player if the “Hidden Factor System” is followed exactly. The reasons are as follows:
1. The player risks only small money
2. All large bets are made on house money
3. Bizarre runs of luck occur under the laws of chance. Ever smaller money is in play during the player’s losing cycles and ever larger money is in play during the player’s winning cycles.
4. The home pocket takes money in, but never gives it out. All player wins, even the small ones, are permanent.
5. Attack betting combined with good luck provides the player a theoretically unlimited chance at winning. Proof? How many times have you been in front…only to end up a loser on the day?
6. Since the player is absolutely prohibited from quitting during a win streak, there is no theoretical limit to the size of a player win.
7. The player runs out of money at the end of an increment, but the house does not run out of money.
8. Because the house has unlimited funds, all large wins will be the player’s. Because increment size is limited, the house’s wins will be small.
OTHER FACTORS IN CASINO GAMBLING.
1. All casinos operate the gaming tables in a similar manner. The reason is that only one BASIC set of policies, betting rules and gambling procedures can safeguard the house.
2. Likewise for players. Only one BASIC system can work. A professional gambler’s system will be fundamentally the same as the hidden factor system. The professional will, however, describe his system in words and phrases that are much different.
3. There are a certain series of systems called the Martingale systems. One variation is to double your bet every time you lose. The theory is that sooner or later you will win and thereby recover all of your money plus a small profit. Although this sounds like an intelligent approach, actually it is not. IT IS NOT UNUSUAL AT ALL TO LOSE TEN (OR MORE) BETS IN A ROW. When you double your bet each time you lose, you will soon bump up against the maximum betting rules. Worst of all, you will have ever larger amounts of your own money on the table. Do not get “sucked” into these stupid betting systems.
4. Small clubs with a thin bottom line should not be called “casinos”. They should be called “odds shops” where players are ground down by the odds
5. Gambling winnings, in some countries, in excess over gambling losses are taxable. The club is required to take the social security number of obvious winners when they cash in their chips. Conduct yourself in such a way so as to minimize your tax liability.
6. You may lose your increment 20 times in a row without getting any money in the home pocket. This is an extreme run of bad luck. EXTREME EVENTS, GOOD AND BAD, CAN AND WILL OCCUR UNDER THE LAWS OF CHANCE. If you follow the system exactly, you cannot be badly hurt by extreme losing streaks because of the small money factor.
7. Without being obviously secretive, it is better not to discuss your system in the casino environment.
8. The hidden factor system will often be steering you counter to your intuition. Your increments are not too small. Your wins are never big enough. If you have allocated money to the home pocket by error, do not remove the money. Do not let instincts play games with your mind.
9. Some professionals test the waters with a series of small bets. The idea is to test your luck. Follow your hunches on this.
10. We have all known individuals who seem to be lucky, or unlucky, all their lives. The bizarre nature of luck and streaks can account for this. You will experience all of these.
11. It is important to have only small amounts of your own money on the table. Most people earn money through wages, salaries or earnings from small businesses. Only losers expose large amounts of this kind of money on the table. LET THE HOUSE BE THE ONLY ONE TO EXPOSE LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY.
12. All games of chance are losers unless it is possible to place large bets that have first been taken away from the house. No exceptions.
13. If the house’s luck is immediately very strong it is OK to sweep the remainder of an increment into the home pocket. Sweep money freely and easily into the home pocket. Follow your hunches.
14. If you tire of gambling, sweep the remainder of the entire stake in the home pocket and your gambling is over for this time.
15. Some individuals can be falling down drunk and consistently beat the house. Possibly you may believe they “know” something. However, the bizarre nature of luck and streaks is a better explanation.
16. Do not gamble at the end of a holiday/vacation. You will not have the time required to play out a win streak.
17. A player may choose to budget one increment per weekend. Just make sure the increment is not wasted with indecisive betting. This gives the increment its fair chance to be a winner. Of course, any single increment, properly played, is at risk of being lost quickly.
18. Do not waste increments with timidity. Follow all the rules such as a) keeping your mind clear, b) playing your hunches, c) concentrating on the game, d) attack betting and e) filling the home pocket.
ROULETTE - A RECOMMENDED GAME.
1. It’s a slow, but refined game for refined people. No rough and tumble of dice and cards here. By betting the RED-BLACK, or the EVEN-ODD, roulette can easily be fitted into the hidden factor system. On a lucky night bet various number combinations. THIS MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO PLACE HIGH ODDS BETS DURING A WIN STREAK. This is an important advantage. The player can potentially run wild on a win streak.
2. Roulette is a nice simple game and is relaxing to play. Each player is issued a distinctive colour chip to avoid confusion with other players. The player cannot make a stupid bet because the spinning ball is automatic.
3. Zero and double zero are house slots and if the ball lands in zero or double zero all players lose. In addition to zero and double zero there are 36 numbers on the wheel. On many bets the odds are slightly over 5% against the player. The calculation is as follows: Two certain losing numbers out of 38 total numbers = 38 to 2 or 19 to 1 odds. (1.00 divided by 19 = .0526). Therefore the odds are 5.26% against the player. Or just 2.70% on a single zero wheel. Even better if you play with a single zero wheel, with European rules the house odds are only 1.35% on even bets.
4. Unlike blackjack, roulette requires no skills and the odds are certain. Begin play with an increment and start betting on Red-Black or Even-Odd. You may also bet the numbers – 1 through to 18, and 19 through to 36. These are all even bets. When you start to win, play other number combinations such as 1st 12, 2nd 12 and 3rd 12. These bets pay two to one and a £10 bet will return £20. profit.
5. During win streaks place your bet on the corner between four numbers and any of the four numbers will pay 9 to1 (36 divided by 4 = 9). Watch out as clubs typically pay 8 to 1 on this bet. A single number bet should pay at least 35 to 1. Inquire on these payoffs as it is easy for the club to pay reduced payoffs. If so, you know the odds are slightly worse than 5.26% on these particular bets.
6. Roulette double zero odds are not good, a single zero changes everything. It is easy to increase the betting during win streaks by playing the harder combinations. The ease of raising the betting level during a win streak is why roulette is a recommended game.
RECAP AND FINAL COMMENTS.

14. Bet heavily when you start to win and the wealth begins to flow. The massive, continuous win streak will not happen very often, but when it does happen BE READY. Psyche yourself up for the long haul. Have food and drink delivered. Do not get tired. Do not lose your nerve. If you become exhausted, sleep for a few hours and then continue. Bet heavily and confidently. The home pocket will keep you safe.
